Let's Sip Terms of Use
Effective date: September 28, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Alexis Becerra ("we," "us") about your use of Let's Sip. By creating an account you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use Let's Sip
You must be at least 13 years old. If you're under 18, you confirm a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms. One person, one account; don't impersonate anyone.
2. Your content
You own the photos, captions, comments, tags and messages you post ("your content"). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and share your content in the app, only as needed to run Let's Sip and according to your privacy settings. The license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies we must keep for legal or safety reasons (such as a pending report).
You're responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
3. Community guidelines
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You agree not to post or do any of the following:
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or encouraging violence or self-harm.
- Hate speech or slurs targeting race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or similar characteristics.
- Sexual or nude content, graphic violence, or anything involving minors in a sexual way.
- Photos of people without their permission, or sharing where someone is or lives.
- Spam, fake reviews, scams or misleading posts about businesses.
- Illegal content, or content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or privacy.
- Trying to break, overload, scrape or get around the app's security, rate limits or privacy protections.
4. Reporting, blocking and enforcement
You can report any post, comment, chat message or account, and block anyone. We review reports within 24 hours. We may remove content, and suspend or delete accounts, that break these terms, with or without notice. Content reported by several people may be hidden automatically until we review it. We report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
5. Check-ins and chats
Check-ins only work at the shop and expire automatically. Shop chats are public to people viewing that shop and are deleted after 24 hours. Coffee shop listings come from Apple Maps; we don't control shops' hours, prices or information.
6. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Let's Sip infringes your copyright, email support@letssip.app with the content's location, your contact details, and a statement that you own the rights. We'll remove infringing content and may close repeat infringers' accounts.
7. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete account. We may suspend or end accounts that break these terms.
8. Disclaimers and limits
Let's Sip is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content posted by other users, and our total liability is limited to $50. Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can't be waived.
9. Apple
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support, and is a third-party beneficiary of these terms who may enforce them. If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a refund of the purchase price (the app is free). Apple isn't responsible for any product or legal claims about the app.
10. Changes
If we make significant changes, we'll update the effective date and tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Let's Sip means you accept the new terms.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, USA.
